You might not know the Moo offers some luxe design options for business cards. Some options are especially creative but might not work for your industry. Just when you are frustrated with your own design, something might come along – Moo Luxe Designs for photographers. Moo seems to love connecting with photographers and provides them with awesome ways to promote a photography business. We’re showing a few of those Lux Business Card design options that you’ll want to jump on.
What’s really unique about the Moo Luxe Designs is that they are not available forever. In fact, these designs are only available for a month. Even if you have photography business cards already, these Luxe Business Cards are worth ordering for the obsessed photographer! The kicker? 100% of all net proceeds will be donated to the designer’s charity of choice – In the case of these designs by Dan Rubin, the charity is is the Harmony Foundation, the charitable arm of the Barbershop Harmony Society.
Camera Negativ by Dan Rubin
Camera Negativ is a full bleed option with the camera illustrations outlined in white. You can change the colour of the text and the background colour, but you can’t change the illustration outline colour. Remember you can also add one 4 options for the seam of the cards too – white, red, blue, black.
There are 8 different vintage camera illustrations from Dan’s camera collection. These will be like having mini prints within your pockets and you will probably have a very hard time parting with the business cards.
On the opposite side of the illustration is where you add your details. Where you see the empty Polaroid, you can actually change that out. The entire left side can become a space for you to add an image, a logo, or any graphic that helps with your own photography business identity or branding. This is the same for the Camera Positiv design.

I also wanted to explore printing full-bleed designs on Luxe, which works especially well on the White Luxe paper. For Camera: Negativ, I’ve selected a strong gold for the default background colour, but you can change that to any colour you like to fully customize the cards to your brand or personal preference.

Camera Positiv by Dan Rubin
If you’d like your camera illustrations to have some colour instead of the background, you’ll want to go with Camera Positiv. The cool thing about this option is that you pair it up with the seam colour for the cards. The blue camera illustration outline would also have the blue seam colour around the cards. Pretty flashy!
In our opinion, this Luxe Business Card design is very crisp looking! The contrasting option is indicative of the way Moo thinks ahead.
When you order, you have all 8 camera illustrations within the pack. You then have options to eliminate certain vintage cameras from your order. If you wanted, you could eliminate all but one and ensure you get an order with your single most favorite vintage camera.

Each version of Camera: Positiv shares its outline colour with the Luxe paper on which it’s printed, echoing the line while also lending a distinctly technical illustration style to the series (I especially enjoy how the blue version feels like blueprints).

Moo Luxe Designs for Photographers
Moo offers a bunch of other pre-designed options for all kinds of industries other than just for photographers but it really is a treat to see something so specific and well done. Dan Rubin’s pet project to illustrate his vintage camera collection is really paying off and I hope that much is raised to be given to his charity of choice. I love the belief of Moo – Design can change the world. I’m on that train too.
